Palette

Hi, everyone! I'm sorry for the lack of posts this past week-I've been out of town! (More on that later) Today I have another review for you all. I received this Sephora eyeshadow palette for Christmas and just recently pulled it out. In the past few weeks of using it, I can honestly say I have fallen in love with this palette! As you can see, it's very loved. The outside is black with glitter and when opened, it showcases 8 shades. I get the most use out of the two lightest colors on the far left, the grey, and the browns. This palette is perfect for everyday use. If you're on the go, you can throw this in your handbag and use it for touchups throughout the day.
I think that the shade range is quite lovely-I have a thing for greys and browns. These shadows can be quite shear if you blend them out well, but they can also be quite bold as well. Without a proper eyeshadow primer, these shadows will not last all day. Although when I do use my Urban Decay primer, it lasts all day and then some.
Have you ever tried one of Sephora's eyshadow palettes?

Washi Tape

Hi, everyone! Today I wanted to talk to you all about my newest project. I recently bought an ipad keyboard and I wanted to make it cuter than just silver and white, so I made a trip to Target and bought some Scotch washi tape for a few dollars and I cut out small squares of the tape and placed them on top of the keys. (pretty sure that was a run-on sentence, but who cares) I thought it turned out pretty cute and I wanted to share it with you all. It's a really easy and fun project if you want to update the look of a boring keyboard.
By the way, it's my goal to start doing more crafty projects, so I have one that I am going to start on tomorrow afternoon and get ready to share with you. I hope you all are having a great week so far!

Vlogging

Hi, everyone! Remember last week when I said I will have some exciting news to share this week? Well, Gary and I have decided to start a YouTube channel with all of our vlogs on it. The channel went live last night! Basically, this idea started when I was watching one of my favorite bloggers/vloggers, Lily Pebbles, and I love seeing her and her boyfriend's vlogs together. I thought it was a good idea to vlog because I wanted memories that were captured on video for me and Gary to look back on. Also, I think vlogging captures something else that you can't find by reading through a computer. I want you all to know me, who I am outside of this blog, and show you a little peak into my life. [I've updated the C&G tab above with our channel also] I hope you all follow along!
You can check out our channel here!

Strawberry Lip Balm

Hi, everyone! I have another review to share today. Today's product is Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm. I picked this lip balm up from Sephora for $7. Let me just tell you right now, this lip balm is amazing and I've only been using it for a few days! I've never been too big of a fan of applying lip balm with my finger, but this balm is totally worth it. It moisturizes the lips with a creamy formula. It's slightly tinted with a shear shade of pink, complementing all lips. It's fragrance is a little scent from heaven--newly ripened strawberries. The balm comes in a 0.8 oz. tin that's so easy to throw in your purse or carry in a small wristlet.

This is a definite repurchase.

Tarte Mascara

Hi, everyone! Today I'm reviewing Tarte's Lights, Camera, Action! 4-in-1 mascara.
I received this sample-size mascara in a Tarte gift set for my birthday. I just started using it a few weeks ago to put it to the test.
I really like this mascara. It has all the characteristics I want in a mascara: lengthening, volumizing, and doesn't clump. The wand separates the lashes nicely. The pigmentation of this mascara is dark, complementing the eyes nicely. It comes off very easily with makeup removers. For me, this mascara is good all around.

Have you tried Tarte's mascara?
